The King of Rock ‘n’ Roll, Elvis Presley’s sole child and former wife of Michael Jackson, Lisa Marie Presley, has finally been buried.
On January 22, Lisa Marie, the daughter of Elvis Presley and Priscilla Presley, was formally buried next to Benjamin Keough, who committed suicide in 2020, at Graceland, her father’s mansion.
At Graceland on Sunday, a sizable crowd converged to pay tribute to Lisa Marie, who passed away on January 12 at the age of 54.
Riley Keough, her 33-year-old daughter, and Finley and Harper Lockwood, her 14-year-old twins, were among those there to witness the burial.
Other attendees included Austin Butler, who most recently won a Golden Globe for his portrayal of the late rock and roll star “Elvis,” Sarah Ferguson, a British princess, Alanis Morissette, and Axl Rose, vocalists.
In order to accommodate his mother’s body, Keough’s tomb had to be “slightly” shifted, according to Page Six, which published images of the funeral.
They are now resting side by side in the famous mansion where Elvis lived.
Together with his parents Vernon and Gladys Presley, Elvis Presley, better known as the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll, is interred in the property’s garden in Memphis, Tennessee.
In pictures of the location, there were also numerous flower arrangements, including a bouquet of white roses that belonged to Oprah Winfrey.
